What is included in the service?
For By Size services we have a checklist that all gardeners follow. This is shown on our services page. If your service is by hour, we will work to your requirements or we will work down the checklist until the allocated time has ended.
What are the types of services?
We offer gardening by the hour or by the size of the garden. For all ‘By Size’ services we offer 3 different options: small (10-30m²), medium (30-70m²) and large (70m²+).
How long will it take to service my garden?
Our booking form gives an estimation on how long a service will take. Each garden differs depending on the size and condition.
Do I need to be at home?
Whatever works best for you. We can work via a key or lockbox to provide entry for the gardener or you can be around whilst we work.
Do I need to provide the gardener with anything?
All our teams come with necessary equipment to complete the service. Please note that we do not provide fertilizer, mulch or plants.
Do I need to have parking for the gardener?
We require a parking space for all our gardeners. If you are unable to provide somewhere for our gardeners to park, please let us know prior to the service.
Can I give the gardener a key?
Unfortunately we cannot accept keys to enable easier accessibility for our team if you are not home. We do prefer use of lockboxes/instructions if this is possible. Loss of keys is a risk that must be considered as we do not hold responsibility.
Will I get the same gardener each time?
Yes we prefer to keep the same gardeners at each property. If for any reason we need to change we will notify you.
How do I pay for the service?
All services are payable via debit/credit card via the bookings page.
Do the gardeners have police checks?
Yes, all gardeners are required to have completed police checks prior to joining the team.
Are the gardeners insured?
Yes, all the gardeners are fully insured with public liability insurance.
Are you pet friendly?
Yes, here at Gardener Co we love all pets and have no trouble gardening at pet friendly homes.
Breakage and damage of property
If there is any breakage or loss during your service, notification of such an event must be made to Gardener Co within 48 hours of service. We will do our utmost to resolve any such events.
Hazards and unserviceable gardens
If your garden is deemed unsafe or hazardous, our teams will assess and potentially leave. We require all homes to be safe and risk-free for our gardeners.
What if I am unhappy with the service?
If for any reason you are not happy with the service, please forward photographic evidence of the issue and we can either send someone out to fix the problem or provide you a partial refund.
What if the gardener is late?
If the gardener is late we will do our utmost to find a replacement or reschedule to a time that suits you.
How do I amend my booking?
Please contact our office via email, phone or text (7am – 6pm) and we will be happy to accommodate and changes to your booking.

How do I cancel the service?
Please contact us via email, phone or text to cancel. We will accept cancellations up to 24 hours before the service without any fees incurred. A cancellation fee will incur if the job is scheduled to start within the 24 hours.
Are you open on the weekend?
Yes, we are open both Saturday and Sunday.

How many people will come?
Allocation of teams is based on availability. If the garden is large we prefer to send larger teams. A team of 2 will reduce the provided duration by 2.
What if the weather is bad?
We typically work during all conditions. However if the weather will affect the quality of our work then we will reschedule to a day with better conditions.
Do you provide green waste removal?
We are happy to dispose of waste in your green waste bin. Larger waste disposal is not included as part of our services
